Cyclones are used to capture heavy, large particles in the flue exhaust gas.

On solid-fuel systems, either a single cyclone or a multicyclone can be applied.

When the soot content and moisture of the fuel are taken into account, a single cyclone may be preferred on solid-fuel systems because it is easier to clean and better suited to operation.

Cyclones can generally capture particles of 10 microns and above.

An induced-draught flue fan must be used in cyclone applications.

On request, it is delivered with long-life insulation that keeps heat losses to a minimum.
