Key Features
Stokers are systems in which solid fuels are transferred into the combustion chamber by an auger and combustion takes place in the upper part of the chamber.
Stokers can be used with YSB and YHYB steam boilers, KYK HLZ thermal oil boilers and YS and YHYBWB hot water boilers. The number and capacity of stokers are selected to suit the boiler model and capacity.
Stokers are recommended for solid fuels with a minimum size of 5 mm and a maximum size of 50 mm, a low tendency to form ash and slag, and a moisture content of no more than %20.
Stoker bodies are manufactured from cast material with high resistance to elevated temperatures.
Thick material is selected for the auger flights, and the shaft is manufactured from solid material.
A gearbox of suitable capacity is selected so that the system runs without trouble.
Stokers are protected even during a power failure by a 2-stage fuel feed system, an automatic fire-extinguishing valve, a safety thermostat and a flame flashback prevention system.
Bunker fuel-level control automation can be supplied as an option.
Internal distributors are fitted after the primary air fan to achieve homogeneous and optimum combustion.
An automatic primary air damper is provided for controlled and safe combustion.
