Key Features
WCVG is one of the latest technologies used for burning various types of solid fuel.
The water-cooled grate area reaches high furnace temperatures without damaging the system. The system offers flexibility in burning a wide range of solid fuels and biomass types.
The WCVG system, with simpler mechanical equipment, also offers lower maintenance costs and less frequent periodic maintenance than similar systems.
The water-cooled vibrating grate system was developed by AKKAYA A.Ş. to provide high efficiency and safe operation.
The WCVG system can be used with YSB and YHYB steam boilers and with YS and YHYBWB hot water boilers.
Grates are sized and manufactured to suit the selected boiler model and capacity.
Solid fuels with a minimum size of 5 mm and a maximum size of 50 mm, a low tendency to form ash and slag, and a moisture content of %20-%55 depending on their nature, are recommended for WCVG systems.
Fuel is transferred from the bunker to the grate by an auger, a pneumatic conveyor or a hydraulic pusher. Primary and secondary air fans and dampers are located in the furnace section of the boiler.
Delivered with long-life insulation that keeps heat losses to a minimum.
